Matt Sauer Appointed Global Research Manager at IDC Financial Insights

LONDON, October 15, 2012 — IDC Financial Insights today announced the appointment of Matt Sauer as global research manager, Global Securities and Investment Strategies, IDC Financial Insights. Based in London, Sauer will lead IDC's Worldwide Securities and Investment Strategies program and will be responsible for consulting, research, and thought-leadership projects.

Sauer has over five years' experience working in capital markets, with three years' experience providing research and benchmarking services to global investment banks. In his previous role as a senior research consultant at a boutique research house and management consultancy, he worked closely with C-suite decision makers, informing them on industrywide best practices in IT infrastructure, risk technology, and regulatory compliance.
