Background

Previously, Mr. McPherson was a principal in the Consumer Financial Services Group at American Management Systems (AMS), a leading technology strategy and implementation firm. While there, Mr. McPherson developed implementation strategies for CRM initiatives at a top-ten North American bank as well as a leading online bank. Before joining AMS, Mr. McPherson served as a financial analyst in the Executive Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Education and Industry Affiliations

Mr. McPherson has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Investors Business Daily, CFO Magazine, American Banker, Bank Technology News, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Houston Chronicle, FutureBanker, Card Marketing, and The Journal of Commerce. He has also spoken before the Federal Reserve Bank on the subject of electronic bill presentment and payment, and at industry conferences on the subjects of business-to-business payments, smart cards, and alternative payments.

Mr. McPherson holds a master of business administration degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a concentration in the strategic use of information technology, and a Bachelors degree in political science, also from MIT.
