Overall worldwide IT spending will experience a 2.93% compound annual growth rate over the forecast period, although growth rates vary by region. Please note that the "health insurance" component that was included within the "life, health, and annuity" category has been removed. This category had included managed care providers. This IT spend has been removed so that the Worldwide Insurance Spending Guide can be purely financial services, consistent with IDC Financial Insights research.
