Overview

Old Mutual South Africa (OMSA) recently signed its largest IT outsourcing deal, worth ZAR 2.49 billion ($355.70 million), with Dimension Data and partners Telkom and Nashua Communications.

The agreement takes effect from August 1, 2011, and covers OMSA's operations, as well as those of its majority-owned units Nedbank and the short-term insurer Mutual & Federal. Dimension Data is replacing Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), which had held a contract to manage and operate networking services for Old Mutual since 2005.
