Executive Profile
Brien Henderson is Vice President of Sales for IDC Financial Insights. Henderson manages multiple sales channels and advises financial institutions, vendor communities, and other consultancies about how to select appropriate continuous advisory services or engage in custom research. Henderson brings with him more than fifteen years of experience in financial services technology related fields and over five years of specific management consulting and research advisory service experience. Industry Expertise Prior to the formation of IDC Financial Insights, Henderson served as Director of Sales, Marketing and Client Services at TowerGroup, where he helped grow the company from $300,000 in 1995 to over $12 million in annual sales revenues by 1999. In addition, Henderson was responsible for launching TowerGroup’s international presence as an financial services advisory firm. Background Before TowerGroup, Henderson was Sales Manager for SkillSoft Corporation, the world’s largest eLearning vendor. Henderson has worked with clients such as JP Morgan Chase, UBS Warburg, The Hartford, Aetna and more to develop their corporate eLearning initiatives. In addition, Henderson was Manager of European Operations and the International Sales Manager for NSS Corp, a retail branch automation solutions provider. Education and Industry Affiliations Henderson holds an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a Masters degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. |
